Patricia Ann BaldwinPatricia Ann Baldwin

Hendricks County Prosecutor Patricia Ann Baldwin has served the citizens of Hendricks County for over 24 years, including the previous 14 years as the county’s prosecuting attorney.  Ms. Baldwin also serves as the director of the United Drug Task Force.

Ms. Baldwin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ball State University and graduated summa cum laude.  She continued her education at the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, earning her juris doctor degree.  Shortly thereafter, she began her legal career as a partner at Baldwin and Baldwin Attorneys at Law and as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Hendricks County.  Even as a practicing attorney, Ms. Baldwin furthered her education and legal knowledge foundation by completing courses in white collar crime, crimes against children, and other areas of the law.

Additionally, Ms. Baldwin is committed to serving the local and state communities outside of her job.  She has served two terms each on the boards of Hendricks County Youth as Resources, Cummins Mental Health Center, and Catholic Social Services for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.  Ms. Baldwin is also an active member Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she is involved in many parish ministries and activities.

Ms. Baldwin is a member of the Hendricks County Bar Association (and a former president), Hendricks County Substance Abuse Task Force, Hendricks County Safe School Committee, Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council, National District Attorneys Association, Hendricks County Republican Women (and a former president), and the County Space Needs Committee.   She is a volunteer for the Hou Koda District of the Crossroads of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Friends of Hendricks County Museum.

Ms. Baldwin has served as a guest instructor, panelist, or speaker for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, the Governor’s Task Force for a Drug Free Indiana, Leadership for Hendricks County, Youth Leadership Hendricks County, and other local civic organizations.

Even though Ms. Baldwin is extensively involved in both her career and community, she leads a rich personal life.  She has four children with her husband of 34 years, Jeffrey K. Baldwin.  Their family has grown to include a daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
